But eagle-eyed fans have recently discovered the rise of an embarrassing new trend online: models posing with cosmetic products they’ve never even used.
Gossip account Celeb Spellcheck posted a series of images this week of influencers posing next to unopened products from haircare brand Bondi Boost.

In one post, model Indy Clinton posed with a towel wrapped around her waist, next to a bottle of ‘hair-growth and breastfeeding support’ pills.?
While Indy claimed she’d been taking the Bondi Boost tablets for ‘four weeks’, the bottle’s safety steal was still intact, meaning that it hadn’t been opened yet.?

But in the caption, the reality star claimed she’d used the products ‘a few times’ and that her hair was feeling ‘super soft’ as a result.
Celeb Spellcheck also featured a post by mummy blogger Vada Stevens holding two Bondi Boost haircare bottles that were clearly unopened and still covered in plastic shrink wrap.
