[chris evans jessica biel]Bella Hadid and the New Low Riders

Remember the low-rise pants of the 2000s? Of course you do. So many famous female celebrities were wearing them at the time. From Keira Knightly…

And more. You get the point – the pants were low!

Low-riders have been on their way back for a while now and… well… I wasn’t all that into them at the time, which didn’t stop me from trying, but I’m definitely not interesting in their revival. But check out what Bella Hadid’s wearing, like a modification to the low-rise without actually having to ride low.

Yes. I had to do the creepy zoom on into her hips to see exactly what’s going on here – which is that you can clearly see that she’s wearing a black tank that just below the waist, and the tank covers the top of the pants which sit at the waist, but there are cut-outs around the hips to give the illusion that the pants ride low, and of course a glimpse of skin in that particular zone of the body. So a compromise then. Will it become the new thing? Are we about to see TikTokkers all over this? Pelvic cut-out pants all over the timeline?
