Ariana Grande’s latest gig? Becoming the newest coach for The Voice.
Grande joins Season 21 of NBC’s hit singing competition show, where she’ll judge and coach promising fresh talents alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. The “Thank U, Next” singer takes the place of Nick Jonas, who joined last year.
”Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice !” she announced on Instagram today. She also left a parting note to Jonas, saying, “We will miss you.”

She announced the news in a leopard look by Lanvin, which means we can expect more stylish looks from the singer once the new season arrives.
Grande added in a separate statement, per The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”
There’s no exact date yet, but we do know that The Voice Season 21 is coming this fall. The series broadcasts two seasons per year; the first arrives around the springtime and the second around autumn. Currently, The Voice is in the middle of its 20th season, which just premiered on March 1.
We’ll wait patiently to find out when we can expect to see Grande on our screens.
Viewers with cable can tune in on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC on their TVs, or online on the NBC website or NBC app (if you log in with your cable provider).
